We have a new addition to the family. He is my new sweet grandpuppy named Brae. He is an American PitBull Terrier. I have pet sitted him and he is so much fun...and Jaxon and Averie love him. Welcome to the family!!

A Fun Visit!!

We recently had a chance to visit with Trever & Chantel, which sadly doesn't happen very often. Us and the girls were so excited to finally get a chance to see Brooks. Trever flies back and forth to Virginia and spends most of his time there. He started a new business out there and Chantel flies out every so often with Brooks to see him. It has become so difficult not being together as a family alot of the time that they decided to move out there together for a year. We wish very much that we could spend as much time with Brooks as we do the other grandchildren...he would have so much fun with Paw-pee and Gra-mee. Trever works so hard for his family. We have missed them alot and only wish good things for their future.

My Day With Braedon!!!

Yesterday I had Braedon over for the afternoon...and what fun. He has progressed so well. He is now saying lots of words and he is almost walking...just a few more weeks and he will get it. I am so amazed with this miracle boy!!! While he was here I gave him his first haircut...what a lucky grandma!! Gosh I so love being grandma!!

He is now 18 months (16 months with the age adjustment for him being preemie). His head is growing again and the Dr.'s wants to do some more tests, but there is no signs of pressure on the brain. His Mom is also ordering him some leg braces...they may help him get that first step. Next week they are going to test him for Cerebral Palsy...I will update when we get the results. I am sure there is going to be something...but nothing like what they prepared us for when he was born.

A little 411!!

Okay, tonight McKennah had a movie night with her friends, so I thought that I would be a good Hostess and make some caramel corn to eat during the movie. Problem was...I didn't have enough butter. I thought hummmm...maybe I could use butter flavored Crisco instead. No chance!! The shortening doesn't combine with the sugar no matter how hot it gets!! All I had was a gooey globby mess...so off to the store Daddy-O went to buy some butter. Just a little 411, or maybe I'm the only retarded one that would think to try this...lol

Weekend Fun

What Perfect Weather for fun!!

Jax, I mean Hulk, and Averie spent the night on Friday night and they sure had alot of fun. We got out the books and read stories on the Trampoline. Ave helped Madi mow the lawn. We watched the airplanes take off. Averie played with the barbies. Hulk decided he wanted La-Le and mo mo cookies in the tree so he kept throwing them up there and then say "do it again". Hulk and paw-pee went on a scooter ride and then a big motorcycle ride. Then we all piled in the car and went to the restaurant bacause Averie wanted some pancakes and bacon. Then bedtime. Whew! I am wore out just typing all this in the computer. It was alot of fun!
