Sadness Is Underrated

It seems to me that Mormonism does not promise so much a life that is happy, but a life that is full; not a pleasant life, but a rich life; not an existence of unending bliss, but of eternal creation. And creation is often born out of sorrow, like a heart-torn symphony.

So, next time you are sad, be happy that you are sad. A life without sadness is not a divine life. It is not even a human life. It is a life without love.

Weekend Fun

What Perfect Weather for fun!!

Jax, I mean Hulk, and Averie spent the night on Friday night and they sure had alot of fun. We got out the books and read stories on the Trampoline. Ave helped Madi mow the lawn. We watched the airplanes take off. Averie played with the barbies. Hulk decided he wanted La-Le and mo mo cookies in the tree so he kept throwing them up there and then say "do it again". Hulk and paw-pee went on a scooter ride and then a big motorcycle ride. Then we all piled in the car and went to the restaurant bacause Averie wanted some pancakes and bacon. Then bedtime. Whew! I am wore out just typing all this in the computer. It was alot of fun!

Blogging...is that really a word?

I am just learning to do this blog stuff, so bear with me until I get some things on here to look at!!! (Great, now how will my house get clean?)

Okay...I looked this up. And according to the Webster website, it is not a word. I looked up blogging, blog, blogger. All it said was 'are you looking for flog?' So, even though blog isn't a word...it sure is addicting!!! lol

Going Back To School!!

The first day of school was alot of fun. The kids went for a short day and were home by 2:00, and then swam in the pool because it was HOT!! McKennah has Mr. Draper, and Morgen has Mr. Rowell. Madison gets to go to Seminary this year. What a great year this will be for all of them!!

South Weber Days

It's Here Again!!!

It's time for the South Weber's Country Fair Days. It is so much fun. Saturday morning is the parade and then after there is all kinds of fun activities at Central Park.

McKennah and Morgen rode in the parade and threw candy,
(Morgen was on the other side of the float, darn).

Then they both danced at the park.

While we were there some of the neighbor kids were selling bunnies...and crazy me...I bought one!!! We named her Lucy...she is so cute, and the girls love her.

McKennah and her friends did all kinds of fun activities including getting their faces painted. It was so much fun for them.

Then the Jr. Bandits played and Madi and Rylee did an amazing job at singing. (I will upload video of it later)

Later that night we watched the fireworks with Averie. It was a fun and tiring day.
